Würden die Sci-Fi-Autor*innen der 70er das Jahr 2017 sehen, wären sie doppelt enttäuscht. Weder ästhetisch, noch gesellschaftlich kann die Gegenwart mit der vormaligen Zukunft mithalten: Es gibt keine fliegenden Autos, Androiden oder Städte auf dem Mars, es gibt immer noch Krankheiten, Ungleichheiten und bewaffnete Konflikte.Der technologische und gesellschaftliche Fortschritt hat die falsche Abzweigung genommen. Wir müssen ZURÜCK IN DIE ZUKUNFT und reisen dafür durch die Zeit:
Zunächst tauchen wir in vergangene Zukunftsvisionen ein: In einem Labyrinth begegnen uns Roboter, Hologramme und Zeitmaschinen. Dann kehren wir in der Gegenwart ein, sprechen über gescheiterte Träume und fragen uns, wie wir utopisches Denken zurückerobern können. Zuletzt finden wir uns im Jahr 2070 wieder: Die Menschheit hat nicht nur überlebt, sondern vieles zum Besseren verändert. Wir hören Berichte von Persönlichkeiten, die zu dieser heute unvorstellbaren Wende beigetragen haben und feiern gemeinsam die vielfältige Schönheit einer neuen Welt.

Si les auteures de science-fiction pouvaient voir 2017, ils seraient doublement déçus. Le présent n’est ni esthétiquement, ni socialement à la hauteur de l’avenir envisagé : pas voitures volantes, ni d’androïdes, ni de colonies martiennes ; la maladie, l’injustice et les conflits armés sont toujours là.
Le progrès technologique et social a fait fausse route. Il nous faut un Retour vers le futur. Partons pour un voyage dans le temps en trois parties :
Nous plongerons tout d’abord dans des visions passées du futur, un labyrinthe peuplé de robots, d’hologrammes et de machines à remonter le temps. Ensuite, nous reviendrons au présent pour parler des rêves déçus et nous interroger sur la manière de reconquérir la pensée utopique. Et enfin nous partirons vers l’an 2070 : non seulement l’humanité a survécu, mais le monde a changé pour le mieux. Nous entendrons les témoignages de personnes ayant contribué à cet improbable tournant et nous célébrerons ensemble la splendeur et la diversité d’un nouveau monde.

If sci-fi writers of the 1970s were to see what’s happening today in 2017, they would be doubly disappointed. Neither aesthetically nor socially can the present compete with the former future: there are no flying cars, no androids, nor cities on Mars and diseases, inequalities as well as armed conflicts are still rampant.
Technological and societal progress has taken the wrong turn. We need to go BACK TO THE FUTURE. Therefore we will undertake a three-step journey through time:
In a first step we will dive into different former versions of the future: Inside a maze we will meet robots, holograms and time-machines. In a second step we will travel back to the present, talk about crushed dreams and ask ourselves, what possibilities there are to recapture a utopian way of thinking. In a third and last step we end up in the year 2070: Humanity has not only survived, but has even been able to improve and develop a lot. We listen to celebrity’s reports, which contributed to this unimaginable positive change, and we celebrate together the manifold beauty and diversity of a new world.
